Herwig Driesschaert

Born in Kortrijk, Driesschaert was a painter, draughtsman and watercolourist. He trained at the Kortrijk Academy, at Saint Luc's in Ghent where he became a lecturer, and in O.Zadkine's studio in Paris. Key themes in his work are man and nature .
