Louis Cane

Louis Cane is a French painter and sculptor, born in Beaulieu-sur-Mer in 1943. He trained at the Ecole nationale des Arts Décoratifs. During the 1970s he was part of the "Support/Surface" group, which questioned the notion of the work of art. His work developed through abstraction to figurative art.
