Biography:
French artist, born at Château-Arnoux-Saint-Auban in 1941. It was in the USA that he became known for his conceptual art and experimental works. He taught at the Sorbonne during the 1970s. Sculptor and photographer, line plays an important role in his work. Maths and science became an important source for his perpetual research. In 2011, he created a number of large sculptures at the Château of Versailles, putting to the test his conception of space.
