André Lambotte

Born in Namur in 1943 and passionate about music, it was in fine arts that André Lambotte became a master. From 'anthropographies', following the anthropomorphic signs in superimposed registers of the 1970s, to the 'all over' chromatic textures of today, his work has continued to evolve in its continuity: an art inscribed in its durability. He has been a member of the Académie Royale des Sciences, des Lettres et des Beaux-Arts de Belgique since 1966.
