André Lanskoy

Russian painter, born in Moscow, André Lanskoy became part of the new Ecole de Paris upon his arrival in Paris, where he became a representative of lyrical abstraction. His work was characterized by a move from figurative to abstract art in 1938, but also by a change in his conception of space, becoming increasingly geometric.
